A sustainable design for the EMC Greenroofs driveway

For their new company building, EMC Greenroofs was looking for an aesthetic, functional, and sustainable solution for the construction of the driveway. It was important that the chosen solution complied with the legislation regarding rainwater infiltration.
The choice for Drainix
After a thorough evaluation, EMC Greenroofs chose Drainix, an innovative and sustainable water-permeable paving system. This system offers several advantages, including:

EMC's unique approach
What makes this project special is that EMC Greenroofs utilized their own expertise and materials. For the foundation of the driveway, their self-developed foundation material made of JDC Lava substrates was applied. The openings in the Drainix grass pavers were then filled with a special substrate mixture enriched with grass seed. This not only ensured a green and natural appearance, but also excellent water permeability.
