Johan Lauvrijs recently successfully renovated a slightly sloped roof of no less than 250 m² with a high-quality 2-layer bituminous roofing system from Supergamma. Thanks to this solution, the roof not only meets current energy standards, but also exudes quality and durability.
The challenge: renovation according to the latest standards
Due to wear and tear, the existing roof was in need of replacement. To meet the strictest requirements, the high-performance PIR insulation Recticel Eurothane BI/4 was installed on top of the existing roof covering. This insulation guarantees an excellent thermal value and durability.
The solution: a waterproof system with Supergamma
For waterproofing, Johan chose an efficient 2-layer roof structure:
- Superair SA as a self-adhesive vapor pressure-equalizing underlayer. Advantages: Fast installation and minimal risk of blistering.
- Superflex cap sheet, an elastic APP membrane with exceptional adhesive strength. Benefits: Excellent processability and long-lasting performance.
A sleek finish
To finish the whole thing stylishly, a black polyester roof edge from Joris Ide was installed. The result is a durable and sleekly finished roof that is resistant to all weather conditions.
