Rainwater management in Sankt Vith

Client: Bpost

Contractor: Wust

Architect: Olivier Russe

The new sorting center in Sankt Vith – a 2500 m² building – is subject to urban planning requirements for rainwater infiltration and collection. To capture the runoff from the massive roof, the 32 loading bays, and 200 parking spaces, a Hewitech Controlbox with Benor certification was used. These 60-centimeter square crates meet the optimization requirements for infiltration. For even greater ease of maintenance, the system is also equipped with a filter on all inlets. The 14 HDPE inspection chambers make the crates easily accessible for long-lasting efficiency.
