The roof of MPI Zonnebos in ’s Gravenwezel was in need of replacement. The old asbestos-containing roof was removed by a specialized subcontractor and replaced by an affordable and sustainable alternative. Huybreckx NV from Turnhout carried out the renovation work. Sandwich panels from Joris Ide ‘Roof 1000' were chosen. These panels, with a total surface area of 1,300 m², were manufactured in a specific RAL color and immediately provide extra insulation through integrated 10 cm PIR insulation. In addition to these panels, the roof was finished with 358 linear meters of Nova zinc, custom-folded in multiple widths and thicknesses.
