Are you an experienced warehouse worker with knowledge of building materials who enjoys taking on responsibility? At Deschacht, you’ll combine warehouse work, customer contact, and the day-to-day management of the warehouse.
What are you going to do?
- You will organize and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
- You will supervise the warehouse staff and support them as needed. You will lead by example by actively participating in daily warehouse operations.
- You will ensure the smooth receipt, storage, and processing of goods.
- You are responsible for maintaining order, cleanliness, and safety in the warehouse.
- You'll assist customers in finding the right materials and ensure that orders are processed correctly.
Who are we looking for?
- You have experience working in a warehouse setting and, ideally, have already managed a team or supervised coworkers.
- You have a good knowledge of building materials.
- You work in an organized manner and keep track of everything, even when things get busy.
- You take responsibility and enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting to work.
- Experience with a forklift is not required. We'd be happy to teach you, as long as you're open to learning.
What do we offer?
- No remote job sites, irregular hours, or extremely early start times—just a fixed workplace and a predictable schedule. You’ll work daytime hours on a rotating schedule from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. or from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You’ll also work two Saturday mornings per month.
