In the Dutch town of Oosterhout, golf resort Landgoed Bergvliet is having a luxury holiday park with 80 villas and a wellness center built. The resort chose a new prefab concept of zero-energy homes, developed by Probuild Bouwgroep from Merksem. 35 villas have flat roofs, which will be fitted with Rubbershell by SealEco as roofing. The Rubbershell membrane does not require an underlay and is self-adhesive. It is ideal for application on a flat roof constructed from a 200 mm insulated roof panel with a steel top layer. The rolls are 1.70 meters wide and 10 meters long, allowing a rectangular roof of 12 by 7 meters to be sealed quickly. Moreover, SealEco offers a 10-year warranty period. Probuild entrusted the foundation of the villas, together with the installation of the 2.4 km of sewerage, to Matthysen bvba. All 80 villas share the same sewerage plan. As a result, the PVC pipes can be fitted together and glued in Matthysen’s own workshop. Six sections of sewerage are assembled per villa. On-site, workers only need to dig the trenches and fit the 6 prefab sections together.
