The new Malinas retail park, in the loop of the N16 to the R6, near the E19 Mechelen-Noord exit, is nearing completion. The project is taking shape on a total area of 27,500 m2 and will accommodate 19 stores and 1 large catering business. Main contractor Groep Verelst schedules delivery for October 2021. For the insulation between the underground space – including a parking lot for 350 cars – and the ground floor level where the stores will be located, Verelst chose XPS insulation from Soprema. Deschacht was responsible for the delivery.
