In Dilbeek, Renovisie has chosen Drainix® for sustainable rainwater management

For the landscaping around a new banquet hall in Dilbeek, Renovisie chose Drainix®, the robust and permeable paving solution developed by Deschacht. The goal: to anticipate future requirements regarding rainwater infiltration while ensuring an aesthetically pleasing and sustainable access area.

A solution with an eye toward the future

For this renovation project, in which an old building was converted into a banquet hall, 160 m² of Drainix® was installed on the access road. The paving allows rainwater to infiltrate directly into the lot, thereby reducing the strain on the sewer system.

“The customer wanted to plan ahead and avoid future modifications. Drainix® perfectly met his needs in terms of infiltration, stability, and aesthetics,” explains Samuel Mazzacavallo, account manager at Deschacht.

Aesthetics, durability, and easy installation

When combined with the same gravel along the sides of the access road, Drainix® blends harmoniously with the surroundings. At the same time, it provides a stable surface for vehicles and deliveries.

“We were looking for a sturdy solution that is easy to install and blends in beautifully with the surroundings. The result has exceeded our expectations,” emphasizes Wouter Vander Eeckt of Renovisie.

Drainix® stands out for its high infiltration capacity, its resistance to traffic from passenger cars, vans, and heavy-duty vehicles, and its quick installation and flexible application options.
