At TCO TC IRIS in Opglabbeek, an important challenge was planned: buffering underground rainwater and process water. After a thorough evaluation of the options between traditional
concrete manholes and a Tubao tank, the Tubao solution was chosen. In this project, Deschacht played a crucial role as a specialized partner in sustainable water infrastructure. As the exclusive distributor of Tubao tanks in Belgium, Deschacht possesses in-depth product knowledge. Thanks to the combination of technical expertise and practical guidance, not only was a well-considered and future-proof product choice made, but an efficient and smoothly executable realization was also guaranteed. The choice of a Tubao tank offered several clear advantages:
- Lower risk of subsidence: concrete manholes require a lot of earthworks and a precise foundation, which increases the risk of subsidence.
- Faster and more efficient installation: instead of digging, placing, and connecting multiple manholes, the Tubao tank can be installed all at once.
- Modular and maintenance-friendly system: the steel tubes are durable, robust, and versatile.
