SCB Dakwerken renovated a 100 m² flat roof with a roof build-up consisting of a base and top layer from Deschacht's Supergamma range.
The Deschacht Supergamma
The Supergamma is Deschacht's extensive bitumen range, consisting of underlays, top layers, and vapor barriers, developed for durable and waterproof roofing. Most products are ATG-certified, which guarantees quality and reliability. Thanks to these high-quality materials, SCB Dakwerken was able to realize a future-proof roof structure.
Bituminous roofing:
- Underlay: the self-adhesive and vapor pressure-equalizing SUPERAIR SA was applied. This membrane distributes vapors from the insulation evenly, effectively preventing blistering and moisture problems.
- Top layer: SUPERGUM White was chosen as the finish, a membrane with white slate flakes that reflects sunlight and thus keeps the roof cooler. The white roofing reduces the thermal load (which extends the roof's lifespan), ensures a more pleasant indoor climate with less need for cooling, and contributes to an energy-efficient and sustainable roof structure.
For the roof upstands, concrete plywood boards from Solid John were used. These boards are extremely robust against moisture and condensation and offer a long service life without the risk of wood rot. The roof edges were finished with Roval Classic roof trims for a neat and durable finish.
Flawless collaboration with Deschacht
Sam and his brothers are not only enthusiastic about the Supergamma, but the collaboration with Deschacht is also going smoothly.
“Thanks to Deschacht, deliveries went smoothly, we quickly received technical advice, and we were able to achieve a reliable roof construction with high-quality materials – from underlay to top layer.”
