Place Clôtures in Rouvignies has been a French manufacturer of fences and gates since 1928. The company develops, designs, and manufactures fences and gates for the private, industrial, and public sectors. To ensure corrosion resistance, the fences are galvanized in their own department. Chemical substances are used during this process. In the event of a fire, these hazardous substances must not enter the sewage system. For the temporary collection of fire-fighting water and other runoff, a double-walled emergency containment tank was specified by the engineering firm. In the event of a fire, the sewage system is sealed off via an inspection chamber on the drainage pipe. In this case, the water in the sewage pipes rises up to the higher-level overflow pipe leading to the emergency containment tank.
Storage capacity of 500 m³
The double-walled HDPE Weholite tank has a storage capacity of 500 m³. The tank has an internal diameter of 3000 mm and a total length of 72 m, consisting of 4 separate sections of 18 m.
Short placement time
The whole thing was installed in one day and connected together with an external PE coupling and an internal weld for sealing.
