207 meters of Faserfix? We'll deliver them tomorrow!

The Projets Montfort reception center is a former monastery that is currently being renovated. The works include, among other things, a large parking lot. More than 200 meters of Hauraton Faserfix channels are being installed by the company François Philippe et Sylvain Frères.

3 orders delivered in record time

First 52 meters, then a second order of 40 meters, and finally another 34 meters. A total of 126 meters of Faserfix KS 200 was installed. Add to that the 81 meters of Faserfix KS 150, and you reach a total length of 207 meters of channels. As the sole distributor of the Hauraton brand in Belgium, Deschacht was able to deliver every order within 3 working days. The available stock is substantial, which greatly pleases contractor Sylvain Frères: “For every order, we needed a quick supply, and Deschacht's responsiveness was a true pleasure.”

Faserfix, the fiber-reinforced concrete drainage channel of German quality

Hauraton is a global player in the field of drainage solutions. The Faserfix channel is actually one of the proudest examples of this. It is closely linked to the brand's history and success, as it was the first drainage channel made of fiber-reinforced concrete (polypropylene fibers). The channel was an innovation in 1974 and still is today thanks to the integration of new technologies, both in the manufacturing process and in the finishing and assembly details. The side walls are wider and sturdier than those of many competing products, and the SIDE-LOCK grating fastening system provides a 90 % time savings compared to traditional fastening. The channels used by François Philippe et Sylvain Frères are class C (250 kN) and are therefore perfectly suited for the frequent passage of cars and vans, but Faserfix is available up to class E (600 kN).

Unanimous about the product

The choice for Faserfix was unanimous. The architect, who appreciates them for their aesthetics, and the contractor, François Philippe et Sylvain Frères, instinctively agreed on the Hauraton channel. Both knew the product, had worked with it before, and knew it would be the best option. Since they did not want to compromise on quality, this was an obvious choice.
