PVC roofing

Client: Basic-Fit

Contractor: Schrijnwerk Janssens

Schrijnwerk Janssens replaced the flat roof of the Basic-Fit branch in Merksem with Vaeplan synthetic roofing by Derbigum. Vaeplan is root-resistant, allowing you to install a green roof on top of it. The rainwater collected with it is clear and pure and can be reused: manufacturer Derbigum received a drinking water certificate for Vaeplan from the Nehring Institute, the German counterpart of the WTCB. Because there is no need to work with an open flame, there is no risk of fire whatsoever during installation. You weld the seams with a hot air blower or by cold welding them. Due to the polymer molecules that then fuse together, you get a seamless, barely visible homogenous joint.
