For the renovation of an apartment building on the Grote Markt in Boom, roofing contractor HDL Bouw handled the complete renovation of the existing flat roof. The project covered a roof area of 400 m², supplemented by four roof domes, folded zinc work, and PIR insulation for a high-performance thermal roof structure.

HDL Bouw deliberately chose the bituminous roof rolls from Deschacht's Supermerk roofing range, known for their quality, compliance, and attractive price-quality ratio. Materials used:
- Underlayer: SUPERAIR SA – a self-adhesive, vapor pressure-equalizing membrane based on SBS elastomer bitumen.
- Top layer: SUPERGUM+ – an APP-modified top layer with a black slate finish.
This roof structure fully complies with the Belgian ATG standard, is standard FR according to BroofT1 (bonded and mechanically fastened) and is backed by a 10-year product warranty. Thanks to ample stock and flexible deliveries, HDL Bouw was able to work smoothly on the construction site in the center of Boom, with a view of the church.
