In Schilde, DRC completed a thorough total renovation of a pitched roof of approximately 350 m² on a detached building. For this project, the roofer decisively opted for a sarking roof construction, placing high-performance insulation on top of the existing roof boarding. For the roof finishing, blue-smoked roof tiles from Koramic were chosen — a stylish and durable choice that gives the roof a contemporary look once again.
Sarking: insulation without loss of space
The choice for a sarking roof structure offers numerous advantages.
