Roof worker Arne Dewinter has been working with Frank van Deschacht for years. Frank not only provides technical support, but also advises on innovative materials that are both durable and aesthetically pleasing. For a detached house in Veltem-Beisem, this collaboration was once again put into practice: Frank visited the site, listened to the customer's wishes, and proposed the ideal materials.
Materials and project structure
The project combined Cedral Tecta Texture slates with Strongpanel 7016 Anthracite HPL facade cladding. This choice resulted in a modern appearance and a high-quality, low-maintenance finish. In addition, the following materials were used: zinc downpipes, zinc flashings, ventilation cap with lead, rainwater pipe, zinc noir (80 lm), Bauder PIR SF insulation, and a vapor barrier. The result is a sleek and harmonious whole where form and function come together.
Strongpanel: strength and convenience
Strongpanel offers a sturdy, impact-resistant, and dimensionally stable finish that is easy to install. Thanks to these properties, projects can be completed faster and more efficiently, without compromising on appearance or durability. For this project, the color 7016 Anthracite was a perfect match with the natural look of the slates.
