840 m² Trudidal gravel tiles for a draining garden path

In Esneux, landscape gardener Martin Adam created a complete landscaping project around a private residence. Deschacht supplied 840 m² of custom Trudidal gravel tiles in the color Dolomite to create a stable, permeable, and visually harmonious footpath that perfectly matches the garden's gravel.

A clear question: a neat and aesthetic path in a sloping garden

The end customer wanted a comfortable access path to move freely around the garden without stepping on the lawn. The slightly sloping terrain presented two challenges: creating a stable, clear path while maintaining the aesthetic harmony of the garden, with its carefully arranged levels, planting, and lawn areas. With his vision as a landscape architect, Martin Adam designed a project that went far beyond simply laying gravel tiles: site architecture, slope management, creation of planted zones, and the installation of edging stones to structure the lines.

Custom choice: 840 m² Trudidal gravel slabs in special color

For the contractor, color harmony was key. That is why we organized a custom production in the Dolomite shade, perfectly matched to the yellow/ochre gravel sections of the project. Result: the tiles visually disappear beneath the gravel while offering optimal load-bearing capacity.

Characteristics of TRUDIDAL gravel tiles in HDPE:

  • Dimensions: 50 × 50 × 3.8 cm
  • Deformable and easy to install
  • Excellent drainage
  • Stable for light traffic
  • Cost-effective compared to other drainage solutions
  • Great aesthetic freedom for perfect integration into a natural garden

Accurate logistics support: two-phase delivery

Our role was not limited to supplying the product. The contractor also needed highly structured logistics, with two separate deliveries on fixed dates. As an account manager, Valentin Overath was on site during the second delivery to monitor the progress of the construction site and ensure that everything went according to plan. Martin Adam is a dynamic landscaper from Waimes, mainly active in private garden design. For this project, he was already familiar with our Trudidal range and knew he could count on a customized approach, flexible logistics, and the customer-centric approach that is part of Deschacht’s DNA.
