Dakwerken De Bie handled the professional roof renovation of 350 m² of flat roofing for several connected bungalow homes. The old roof showed irregularities and leaks, but was completely renewed in accordance with the latest insulation standards.
How was the roof renovated?
To meet current requirements, the roof was insulated with high-quality PIR insulation material from Recticel. Next, a vapor-pressure-distributing bituminous underlayer (Superair SA) was installed, topped with the Supergum+ top layer from Deschacht's Supergamma range.
Supergum+ is a roofing membrane based on APP plastomers, ideal for multi-layer systems. It offers a durable finish with black granules on the top side and a burn-off polyethylene film on the bottom side.
