Deschacht supplies 440 linear meters of galvanized buffer tanks for the prestigious ‘Gare Maritime’ project.
The old freight station on the Tour & Taxis site is being renovated. The ‘Gare Maritime’ project is thus being developed into a covered, vibrant city with space for offices, events, hospitality, and shopping facilities. In this project, Deschacht is the partner for engineering and design regarding solutions for rainwater drainage and wastewater drainage.
The sewerage route is being developed using solid-wall PP sewer pipes and PP-Ribwall pipes in combination with MDPE manholes and PP manholes. Unique to the project is the rainwater buffering and storage solution. For this purpose, 440 linear meters (2-meter diameter) of galvanized corrugated steel ‘Tubao’ tanks were installed underground for a total storage capacity of 1,382 m³. This customized solution guarantees a rapid installation in 4 working days and is accessible via 5 manholes per 20-meter tank.
