Market instability

Update

Please take the information below into account regarding current market instability – validity of quotes

Current geopolitical tensions and international developments are causing severe instability in global markets. Several producers of raw materials and building materials, particularly within the petrochemical sector, indicate that they can no longer offer guarantees of price stability today.

This situation has a direct impact on the entire construction materials supply chain. We are currently facing, among other things:

  • sharply rising raw material prices (incl. PE, PP and other plastics)
  • rising energy and transport costs
  • potential disruptions in the international logistics chain
  • increasing market uncertainty

Due to these exceptional market conditions, we are forced to temporarily adjust our terms and conditions.

Specifically, this means that, unless otherwise stated, our quotes will now be valid for a maximum of 1 week.

Therefore, we advise you to exercise due caution when preparing quotes for your own clients on current or future projects and to coordinate in a timely manner with your contact person at Deschacht.

Our teams are closely monitoring the situation and are doing everything they can to continue supporting you as best as possible during this uncertain period. As soon as there is more clarity regarding the stability of the market, we will inform you further.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and remain at your disposal, of course, for any further clarification.

Kind regards,
Deschacht
