The project involves the installation of 8 kilometers of new drinking water pipes, a route that was awarded to Canalco, a specialist in underground utility infrastructure. For the supply of the high-quality pipes, Canalco relies on Deschacht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top-quality pipes for a crucial project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the realization, HDPE P100RC pipes (560 SDR11) are used, which excel in their strength, reliability, and long service life. This trenchless technique offers a solution in conditions where traditional earthworks are not feasible, such as in city centers, under highways, or railways. Furthermore, HDD fits perfectly within the \u201cless disruption\u201d policy that more and more municipal governments are implementing.\nThe first borehole in Hulshout is immediately a technical masterpiece: 740 meters of trenchless drilling\u2014a tour de force that highlights Canalco's expertise.\nHDPE pipes are the material of choice here thanks to their high flexibility and resistance to tensile forces.
