This renovation plays a crucial role in the sustainable preservation of the property's value, opting for a high-quality 2-layer bituminous roofing system. This roof renovation was carried out by<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">, a renowned class 4 certified contracting company with extensive expertise in industrial roofing.\n\nThe project began with the addition of a 10 cm thick PIR insulation layer, installed on top of the existing roofing. This insulation not only improves comfort for employees, but also contributes to the building's energy efficiency, resulting in lower operational costs in the long run. The additional insulation also provides undeniable added value to the building.\n\nNext, a self-adhesive vapor-pressure-balancing bituminous underlayer (<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">installed, followed by the placement of the white top layer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">, both products from Deschacht. Choosing a white, reflective roofing membrane is strategically very wise. Light-colored roofs significantly reduce temperature fluctuations, which extends the roof's lifespan and lowers air conditioning costs.\n\nIn addition, Vlassenroot has planned ahead with the scheduled installation of solar panels on the roof. A white, reflective roofing membrane is not only ideal for reducing the heat load, but also increases the efficiency of solar panels.
