The task for manager Didier Dethier and his team? Installing a 300 m\u00b2 green roof on luxury apartments. Thanks to the use of, among other things, the SUPER range from Deschacht, this work went... as smooth as silk. Or bitumen, if you prefer...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Didier Dethier was asked to collaborate on the installation of a 300 m\u00b2 green roof, he immediately contacted Deschacht to order all the necessary materials on time. That material list contained various products, with the SUPER range as the most important component. \u201cI am very satisfied with these rock-solid roofing products, which offer my customers optimal and durable protection in all weather conditions,\u201d says Didier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SuperAir SA as an underlay<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDidier ordered from us an underlayer, vapor barrier, and top layer from the SUPER range, each sufficient for an area of three hundred square meters,\u201d confirms Frank Kino, who as Account Manager at Deschacht has been Didier\u2019s regular contact person for about four years. \u201cWith the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As an underlayer, Didier chose a bituminous, self-adhesive, and vapor pressure-equalizing membrane based on SBS elastomer bitumen. This ATG-approved product has an upper surface finished with a protective foil and a self-adhesive underside.\u201d Didier would like to highlight this latter property: \u201cI actually noticed how strongly this underlayer adheres, which allowed us to save a lot of time during installation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vapor barrier SuperUno V3, top layer Supergum+<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">vapour barrier forms the ideal complement to this underlay. Frank explains: \u201cThis vapour barrier is a V3 roof membrane produced on the basis of APP-modified bitumen with a glass fleece reinforcement. It is suitable for fully torch-applied or loose-laid ballasted installation, where the top side is finished with a sand\/talcum mixture. And with the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Didier got to work with a bituminous membrane, the top of which is finished with black granules and the underside is provided with a burn-away PE film.\n\nAs a professional, Didier is full of praise for both the vapor barrier and the top layer: \u201dEspecially at high temperatures, this material is easy to work with and install.
