Specifically at the Lillois station, the J\u00e9rouville company was responsible for the construction of an impressive passageway under the tracks for future utilities. These underpasses were built using smooth HDPE pipes. They ensure a watertight and durable connection between the components of an electrical network for train traffic. Therefore, these very special pipes were required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Widening of the Lillois railway platform<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The RER works span several kilometers and will widen the railway platform in Lillois (Walloon Brabant) for the construction of a third and fourth track.\n\nFor the teams of the contractor from Libramont, who are well aware of the demands of railway applications, this is routine work. As site manager Kevin Frazelle points out, railway works have been an integral part of J\u00e9rouville's DNA since the company's founding, alongside drinking water distribution, road construction, and sewer installation. \u201cWe are familiar with its specifications and know that certain techniques are legally required.\u201d\n\nThis applies to the pipelines that Deschacht supplied for this construction site. They are made of smooth polyethylene, with a thickness of 7.7 mm, making them resistant to train traffic, vibrations, and the heavy loads exerted on them. A very specific product, only available from specialists like Deschacht,\u201d says Vincent Brehl, our commercial colleague who assisted J\u00e9rouville on this construction site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Price and service made the difference<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conclusions of the market analysis by Thomas Castadot, purchasing manager at J\u00e9rouville, speak exclusively in Deschacht's favor: \u201cThey managed to be competitive. Above all, the delivery time was much shorter than that of other suppliers.\u201d\n\nIn addition to these accounting and practical considerations, Thomas Castadot emphasizes Deschacht's attentiveness and quality of service: \u201cWe get quick answers to emails and they are always reachable by phone. This availability can be found both in the sales staff and among the business managers.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">200 linear meters: a large order that was nonetheless delivered quickly<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c200 meters is a significant volume for this type of product. Suppliers capable of fulfilling such orders are<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">, especially when deadlines are tight,\u201d explains Thomas Castadot.\n\nDespite the late dispatch of the purchase order, Deschacht was fortunately able to respond quickly.
