Roebben is a loyal customer of Deschacht, and their partnership is not a new one. It all started with the search for certain products that were ultimately only available at Deschacht. The proximity of the two companies and Deschacht's competitive prices have led to a lasting relationship.

One of the first aspects that convinced Thomas Ruwette, site manager at Roebben, was the availability and ease of use of the webshop: “You can order at any time of the day or night. And it is not unusual to have to place an order very early in the morning or after closing time. When I go to the webshop, I can see what is in stock, place an order immediately, and delivery usually follows within 24 hours.’

At a time when the supply and price increases of raw materials are a source of concern almost daily, another advantage of the online store is the daily updating of prices. This means that the construction site budget is under control at all times.

Thomas Ruwette also points out two small extras reserved for online store customers: “We get a 1 % discount when ordering directly through the webshop, which is always a nice bonus, and we get priority on deliveries compared to phone orders, for which delivery appointments have to be made.

Orders placed via the webshop receive the same service and logistical support.

Thomas Ruwette recalls a construction site in Alleur where several kilometers of sewerage had to be installed: “Instead of having all the pipes delivered at once, which would have left little free space on the site, we were able to order in installments as the work progressed.".

Roebben primarily relies on Deschacht for underground elements such as sewers, pipes, Socarex water pipes, as well as inspection chambers, road buffers, and gutters, among other things.

The fact that the partnership between Deschacht and Roebben is a success has everything to do with the central position of the customer in our relationship, in addition to the breadth of the catalog. “They are very reactive and willing to listen,” emphasizes Thomas Ruwette. “At the slightest problem, they do their utmost to offer solutions. If something goes wrong, they bring all their expertise and experience to the table. We really feel that we are working hand in hand, both for orders and for technical problems on the construction site.”

A perfect track record for two partners with many long years of cooperation ahead of them.
