For the dimensioning and construction of the storm basin and drainage system, general contractor Maitryse relied on the expertise and services of Deschacht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like many other municipalities, Verviers applies very strict criteria for rainwater management and prohibits discharging rainwater into the public sewer system. In addition, the specific requirements of the client and the limited surface area of the construction site had to be taken into account. \u201cFor this project, we had to install an infiltration pipe and a storm basin,\u201d says Micha\u00ebl Abraham, managing director of construction company Maitryse. \u201cThe infiltration pipe had to offer a fairly substantial transport capacity.
